Masters of the Universe Steelbook Edition Blu-Ray - Spain Import

Spain has released the Blu-Ray/Region A/B/C version of "Masters of the Universe" which will not play on a regular DVD player. To view this Blu-Ray DVD, a Blu-Ray DVD player is required. The movie is available in several languages including English (Dolby Digital 2.0), English (Dolby TrueHD), Spanish (Dolby Digital 2.0), and includes English and Spanish subtitles. The aspect ratio is Widescreen (1.78:1). Special features of this edition include a Collectors Edition, Interactive Menu, Music Video, Posters, Scene Access, Special Edition, and Steelbook Edition.

The synopsis of the movie is set on the planet Eternia, where Skeletor and his dark army overthrow the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull in an attempt to acquire her power. He-Man, along with his old friend Duncan 'Man-at-Arms' and his daughter Teela, are attacked by Skeletor's soldiers but manage to defeat them and rescue the inventor Gwildor, who had been taken prisoner. Gwildor explains that Evil-Lyn lured him to use his invention, the Cosmic Key, to open the gates and seize Castle Grayskull. He-Man and his friends attempt to retrieve the prototype of the Cosmic Key to release the Sorceress, but they are defeated by Skeletor and his army. Gwildor uses his key to open a portal for them to escape to Earth, losing the key in the process.

Meanwhile, Julie Winston and her boyfriend Kevin Corrigan find and activate the key on Earth, believing it to be a foreign musical instrument. On Eternia, Evil-Lyn locates the Cosmic Key, and Skeletor sends her with a group of mercenaries and soldiers to vanquish He-Man and his friends and bring back the key. The film unfolds the question of whether they will succeed in their mission.

The movie has been screened and awarded at the Fantasporto Awards and is released as the Masters of the Universe (Steelbook Edition) in Spain.
